Bridging Hands for ASL
Learn American Sign Language (ASL) in Belfast, Maine, with certified instructor Carrie Pierce.

P lease note that classes for 2026 have NOT been set up yet. The current plan is to have Mondays at 6:00 for ASL 3 Plus and Conversations. ASL 1 @ 6:00 on Thursdays
ASL 2 @ 4:00 on Thursdays.
I will make an announcement early January on a start date.

If you would like a class -it can be anything, preferably in my community classroom or close to Belfast. If you are interested in something please be specific about when you are available, and your interest. I need a certain number to have the classes. Look forward to meeting you soon.

My rates are $50 an hour. Travel, Prep time, question and answer time, and number of students will also be factored in.

Upcoming Community Event
ASL Socials are the second Saturday of the month from 11:30 to 2:00 at the United Farmers Market in Belfast. Find a table, and start signing. There are several signers at the market every week, however you need to be signing for them to notice you! There are some vendors that sign a bit too!
December 13th -United Farmers Market Social 12:00-2:00
Some Vendors will also be signing !

Upcoming Family ASL Classes-Currently going the 2nd Saturday of the Mont. -ALL Family CLASSES $5 per person-Email the instructor if you are planning to attend.– The exception is October 18th.
In addition, there will also be a family class on the 4th Saturday of the month from 11:30-12:30 at White Ash Learning Cooperative in Swanville from 11:30 to 12:30.
